I've stood in rooms where I had no business being.
Disney was on my left. Dreamworks was on my right. And I was standing there with a brand nobody outside Mexico had ever heard of.
Las Vegas Licensing Show. The room where the biggest names in the world come to do business.
I wasn't there because I had connections or capital. I was there because the brand was clear, and a clear brand opens rooms that money alone can't.
That experience changed how I think about everything.
Building a character from a sketch in Puebla to an internationally awarded property, licensed by Mexico's largest telecom, shown at MIPCOM in Cannes, recognized at IDEATOON, taught me something no client project ever could.
A brand doesn't travel because it's beautiful. It travels because it's marketable. There's a buyer on the other side of every brand decision.
And when the strategy is right, the identity becomes obvious — and the doors start opening.
That's what I build for my clients.

I'm Blanca Ruíz, Brand Alchemist. I work at the intersection of brand strategy, business, and visual identity ,helping Latin American founders and companies build brands that are ready to compete in bigger markets.Like USA,Canada, Europe.
Most agencies give you a logo and a brand guide. I give you clarity, about who your company truly is, what makes it irreplaceable, and what opportunities were sitting right in front of you that you couldn't see before.
And you work directly with me. Not with a junior designer. Not with an account manager. With 26 years of experience in the room with you, every step of the process.
The proof isn't just in client work.
26 years in brand strategy and visual identity design. Clients in Mexico, the US, Canada, and Europe. Early work with Volkswagen de México, Pelikan, and UDLAP.
I independently published a bilingual cookbook that was accepted into major bookstores across the US and Mexico, brand first, publisher second. I've built my own IP from concept to international licensing deals. I've done what I ask my clients to do. I know what it takes because I've lived it.
Recent work: Maestra Abuela Publishing House, Los Angeles, CA A bicultural brand built to reach the US Hispanic market and beyond.
How I work
I work at the intersection of business strategy, storytelling, and visual identity. Every project starts with deep discovery, understanding what makes your company irreplaceable. Then we build the strategy. Then we make it visible.
The logo is the byproduct. The thinking is the work.
